About the Author

Dr. Jacqueline Zaleski Mackenzie, Author, Researcher is an expatriate who resides in Central Mexico. Her nonprofit charity offers equine therapy and water therapy to marginalized children in an indigenous village of subsistence farmers where she is an academic researcher.

Her formal education includes a PhD (2010) and an EdS (2007) in special education, bilingual education, and socio-cultural studies from the University of Arizona, a BA in divinity (1994) from Universal Brotherhood, and a MS (1989) and BS (1987) in business from Florida Institute of Technology. She has written several nonfiction books, one novel, and numerous articles, on socio-cultural issues, business, psychology, education, and nutrition.
