³Didn¹t disappoint Š very pleased to see the return of some familiar characters, especially Nico and Mary Š although it¹s a fun read it goes down a path which makes it a little darker than the earlier books Š Tamsyn¹s writing sped along interweaving the back story of the other books when required effortlessly so much so that needing to read them is not a requirement.² Jesse, Books 4 Teens blog
³Skye is an engaging narrative voice. The story moves forward quickly, with well-placed revelations about characters providing momentum Š blends recognizable elements of contemporary teen life Š with matter-of-fact treatment of the supernatural Š It¹s all carried off with a light touch and will be thoroughly enjoyed by girls of twelve upwards Š deservedly popular series.² School Librarian
³Murray has created a thoroughly engaging cast and readers will share Skye¹s turmoil over her doomed relationship with Owen, and her hesitation about going back to Nico. The drama in the book is balanced with lighter moments and gentle romance, interspersed with thrills, along with pop-culture references.² Carousel No 49, Nov 2011

About the Author
Tamsyn Murray spent her childhood moving around a lot, from Truro in Cornwall to a village called Norham in Northumberland (which is probably as far from Cornwall as it’s possible to get and still be in England) and then on to the Lake District. At eighteen she left home to go to university in London and has been a Londoner ever since. When she’s not working or writing, she can be found singing and dancing with her local amateur dramatics society. Her first novel, MY SO-CALLED AFTERLIFE was highly commended by Booktrust Teenage Prize 2010 for its contribution to contemporary writing for teenagers. ” I knew the boy was different when I saw him walk on water. When fourteen-year-old Skye Thackery meets Owen Wicks, it’s not exactly love at first sight. She’s getting over a broken heart and he’s, well, a ghost. But as Skye gets to know him, she can’t help wondering what it would be like to kiss him. Dating a ghost isn’t easy, and things get worse when Owen declares he’s found a way to stay with Skye forever. As Owen prepares to risk everything, Skye wonders if his desire to be more than just a ghost will cost them everything.”
