From the Author

It’s time to get growing!
I wrote this book because I love to grow plants, both indoors and out. Even in the dreary dark days of winter, kids can sprout seeds, snip leaves and start new houseplants, and lots of other fun things that make learning about nature fascinating. With spring on the way, getting that squishy dirt between your toes is fun for everyone. What a fun hobby for the whole family! I can’t wait until the snow melts and the robins return, and I can start digging and planting. Want to know how to raise praying mantis’s from an egg case? Want to learn how to grow a mold garden? Take a peek inside this book for lots of fun things to grow, whether you’re indoors or out, winter or summer. Have fun!
