About the Author
Jamsheed K. Choksy received his BA from Columbia University and his PhD from Harvard University. He is Professor of Iranian Studies, Professor of History, and Adjunct Professor of Religious Studies at Indiana University. Choksy was nominated by the U.S. president and confirmed by the U.S. Senate as a member of the National Council on the Humanities.
Jennifer Dubeansky received her BA and her MA from Indiana University. She is currently a double PhD candidate in Central Eurasian studies and in religious studies at Indiana University. Her research focuses on ancient Iran and Central Asia and on the religions, archeology, numismatics, and history of those regions.
