Evaluation of school and college leadership programmes shows that leaders and managers often need better understanding of the management of financial and real resources. Educational Resource Management provides a summary of the main issues, an application of these to the real-world situations in which leaders work, and a framework for the operation of effective systems in schools and colleges. The book concludes with a review of current tensions in resource management in education and some pointers to further study.
