About the Author
Takashi Amano has been a leader in aquarium design for more than two decades. He established the Aqua Design Amano Company in 1982 to promote natural aquarium design and developed a line of products to make creating and maintaining a nature aquarium easier. Mr Amano has travelled extensively to study natural aquatic habitats and he applies what he has learned to aquarium keeping. In recent years, he has established the International Environment Photographers Association (IEPA), and he organises exhibitions to promote environmental awareness through nature photography. He lives and works in Giigata, Japan.
