Book Description

In White Sails Became Me, a modern-day Renaissance man takes you on a worldwide journey living more adventure than most people dare dream. Having lived in Europe and Asia for 11 years, and traveled to over 80 countries, the book paints a fascinating self-portrait of a life filled with extraordinary highs and lows.

It is a gripping adventure of a life spent around ships, boats and the sea. Yet make no mistake—while the central theme is nautical, it truly has something for everyone. There are the cultural treasures of living in Japan and Singapore. Portions of the book are devoted to naval and merchant marine service, Normandy, Iwo Jima, Vietnam and VA hospital volunteer work. There are sub-themes of terrorism, survival, family tragedies, safari exploits and exhilarating travel.

Even if you have little or no interest in seafaring, you owe it to yourself to read this book—you will almost certainly find it enthralling. As one reader said, “I couldn’t put the book down.” Neither will you! 0875162924\Meditation is simple prayer without words, prayer of the soul and mind and heart. In its best form, it is like talking to God with the tongue of the spirit and hearing Him answer with the ears of the soul. It is spirited training. It is filled with consolations unknown to those who never practice it. There are many books about meditation. In this book we will start right in practicing meditation, so you can experience the joy of basking in the Spirit.
