About the Author

Ray Glier is a freelance journalist who contributes to such publications as the New York Times, USA Today, MSNBC, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Miami Herald, and the Atlanta Business Chronicle. He is the former executive sports editor of the Knoxville Journal. He lives in the Atlanta area. Les Miles is the head football coach at Louisiana State University. He led the team to a Bowl Championship Series National Championship victory in 2008. He is the forner head football coach at Oklahoma State University. He lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
