This book contains five chapters that detail weevils. Chapter Three considers the issue of biocontrol exerted by toxins from various microorganisms on insect species considered important pests for agriculture. Chapter Four conducts a review of pest-weevil growth models to predict and analyze the pests’ behavior under different ecological sets of conditions. Lastly, Chapter Five aims to show in a synthesised, clear and precise way the relevant information on the species Sitophilus oryzae to help researchers and decision-makers to better understand this pest.
