About the Author

Liz Gipson first learned to weave at age five. She took up weaving once again while attending Colorado State University, where she studied fiber art and community development. Liz is the former managing editor of Spin-Off magazine and the current managing editor of Handwoven magazine. She is the spinning and weaving host of the new public television series, Knitting Daily TV, and has made appearances on the DIY and HGTV programs Knitty Gritty and Uncommon Threads. Liz is also the president of the Spinning and Weaving Association (SWA).
