Book Description
Understanding Economics presents an interesting and accessible introduction to key economic ideas. The book clearly shows the relevance of economics to everyday situations. The book is user friendly in both style and content and requires no prior knowledge of economics and minimal mathematics.
Editorial Reviews
Review
“Allsopp’s text is quite different. . . it is refreshing and challenging. The book is clear and well written and is an extremely useful first year undergraduate economics text. I like the focus on uncertainty, time and institutions. It is the best non-mainstream text for first year undergraduates that I have read.”
