Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

With this edition, the texts of the famous “Trait de Zoologie” have not only been translated from the French and updated as required, but, with this volume 9 (of which now parts A and B have appeared), are also expanded to include the systemtics of the Decapoda. The chapters herein have thus been conceived anew, especially for this series, and present the current state-of-art in decapod taxonomy and biology. The editors of the present volume were fortunate enough to secure the involvement of leading specialists in all groups to be included. We believe this text will constitute a standard reference in carcinology for the next decades. This series is now planned to comprise a total of 9 volumes, some of which in more than one fascicle of approximately 400-600 pp. each.
