Editorial Reviews
Review
“So, so much fun! Nancy Drew meets Mary Stewart with a touch of James Bond to the kickass, martial-arts-expert heroine (with a computer genius for a younger brother – and oh, I loved her younger brother, Arthur, too – he was a great character). I would have ADORED this book as a teen! … I would have just devoured it whole! I’m really looking forward to reading Cate Carlisle’s next adventure.” –Stephanie, Goodreads blog (goodreads.com/review/show/175060253),24 June 2011
From the Publisher
The first in a fabulous new series, Trapped is an exciting, fast-paced thriller with plenty of action and adventure, written in a highly readable style. Readers will love smart, courageous Cate and the glitzy, glamorous locations in which the story is set. But it’s Cate’s passion for the planet and for justice that drives the story along. Trapped is the perfect summer read.
From the Author
“Cate Carlisle is the teenager I would have loved to have been but absolutely wasn’t,” Isla admits. “Cool, unflappable, fit, fiercely independent and speaks several languages! Most of all she isn’t afraid to get out of her comfort zone and make the most of the opportunities she has been given. I hope that Cate inspires other teenage girls to see that there is a whole world of amazing people and places just waiting for them to explore.”
