This deeply researched novel is excellent for readers of all ages from 9 to 99.

William F. Higbie is a historical reenactor and was awarded a Geraldine Dodge Foundation Grant to study on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Lame Deer, Montana. He is the author of A Circle of Power and Provolone in the Casket. He lives in Sandyston, New Jersey.
