About the Author
Dr Lee Brosan was a consultant clinical psychologist in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust, and Trust Lead for the development of psychological therapies. She was also clinical associate at the M.R.C. Cognition and Brain Science Unit in Cambridge and honorary lecturer at the University of East Anglia. She died in 2017.
Peter Cooper is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at the University of Reading. He is also a practising clinical psychologist and Series Editor of the ‘Overcoming’ series. Peter Cooper is Professor of Psychopathology at the Winnicott Research Unit at the University of Reading. Recognised as one of the world’s experts in the treatment of bulimia he has more recently focused on the treatment of postpartum depression.
Roz Shafran is Professor of Translational Psychology at UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health. She is a clinical psychologist and has extensive clinical and research expertise in cognitive behavioural theory and treatment of psychological disorders across the age range. She has co-authored three self-help books and one edited book including Overcoming Perfectionism, The CBT Handbook and The Complete CBT Guide for Anxiety; she has written over 250 peer-reviewed publications. She has three children.
