The Carbohydrates: Chemistry and Biochemistry, Second Edition, Volume IA deals with the chemical and biochemical aspects of carbohydrates such as monosaccharides, sugars, esters, halogen derivatives, phosphates, glycosides, glycosans, alditols, and cyclitols.
