Wilmerding is a principal at Boston Capital Ventures, a venture firm specializing primarily in private equity direct investments in companies with an information technology (IT) software and services focus. Wilmerding has over 10 years of private equity and general management operating experience in the IT software, Internet, transportation, and hospitality industries.At BCV, Wilmerding serves as a director on the boards of portfolio companies, including HUBX, Inc., a Waltham, Massachusetts-based revenue management and distribution services solutions provider to the hospitality industry; FareChase, Inc., a New York City-based travel software provider; and KhiMetrics, Inc., the Scottsdale, Arizona-based developer of the first revenue management system designed to help retailers maximize revenue and profits.
