About the Author
RONALD G. DODSON is founder and retired President & CEO of The Audubon Society of New York State (AKA Audubon International). He served as a member of the USGA’s Wildlife Links Research Committee and a member of the USGA’s Environmental and Turfgrass Research Committee for nearly 25 years. He is also the recipient of the Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association’s 2004 Environmental Communicator of the Year Award. He was also the recipient of the American Society of Golf Course Architects Donald Ross Award. He has written numerous articles for such publications as the USGA Green Section Record, Golf Course Management Magazine, and Golf Course News.
