About the Author
Michael Cormier is an attorney with a busy practice ranging up and down the coast of Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. His writing efforts began in sports reporting, and in recent years he has turned to fiction, winning first place in Prime Time Cape Cods short story competition in 2008. A longtime resident of seacoast New Hampshire and Maine, his interest in local lore and world history are evident in “Sumner Island,” his first novel. He lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
