About the Author
Scott D. Richman is a supervisor in the Hillsborough County Public Schools (Tampa, Florida) Professional Development Office and an Adjunct Professor at St. Petersburg College. He completed his doctorate in educational leadership at the University of South Florida (2010).
Steve Permuth is professor in the College of Education and Honors College at the University of South Florida. He has more than forty (40) years of teaching and administrative experience in K-12 and higher education.
Paula M. Richman has taught middle school science for seventeen years in Hillsborough County Public Schools. Paula currently serves as her school’s Title I Parent Liaison and sits on her school’s improvement team. She has served on numerous committees at both the school and district level including Hillsborough County Public School’s Middle School Science Curriculum and Assessment Writing committees.
