About the Author
Wayne Stewart was born and raised in Donora, Pennsylvania, the same town from which Stan Musial hailed. He now lives in Lorain, Ohio, with his wife Nancy (Panich). They have two sons, Sean and Scott, and one grandchild, Nathan. Stewart has written more than 500 sports articles for publications such as Baseball Digest, USA Today Baseball Weekly, and Boys’ Life. Stewart worked on Stan the Man, his 25th book to date, from November 2006 to December 2009.
