Book Description

Some Assembly Required is a story of addition, chronic pain and recovery from both, written from the perspective of a behavioural health professional involved in direct clinical practice for the last 23 years while being afflicted with a three-decade-long addiction. Ironically, much of that professional experience took place in addiction treatment settings. The story illustrates how his experience with certain counselling models and approaches fit together with a 12-step philosophy and programs.
