Gina Macdonald holds a Ph.D. in English (Renaissance Studies) from The University of Texas in Austin and is an Associate Professor at Nicholls State University. She has published numerous articles and encyclopedia entries about popular fiction, Shakespeare, English as a Second Language, and Spanish, Polish, and Russian authors for Bruccoli Press, Salem Press, and St. James Press, among others.
