About the Author


Peter Wallison is a Resident Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research in Washington, D.C. The author of several books, he is a frequent contributor to the op-ed pages of the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post. In 1981, he was appointed General Counsel of the Treasury, and from April 1986 to March 1987 was Counsel to the President.
