About the Author

Dr. Cretacci is Assistant Professor in the Criminal Justice Department at the State University of New York College at Buffalo. He received the Ph.D from the State University of New York at Albany, School of Criminal Justice. His research interests include social and self-control theories, criminal procedure, and attitudes of police recruits toward their work enviroment.
