About the Author
Shanbao Tong is an associate professor in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Shanghai Jiaotong University. Dr. Tong is an associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Neural Systems and Rehabilitation Engineering. He received his M.S. in turbine machine engineering and Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University. Nitish V. Thankor is a professor of biomedical engineering in the School of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Thankor serves on the editorial board of several journals, including the IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering and Annals of Biomedical Engineering. He received a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
