Bernard Rostker is a senior fellow at the RAND Corporation. Former positions included Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, Under Secretary of the Army, and Director of Selective Service. He has been awarded the Distinguished Service Medal from the Selective Service. He, is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration. He resides in Arlington, Virgina.
