About the Author

Mark A. Moyad, MD, MPH, is the primary author of over a hundred medical articles and numerous books. In addition to his writings, he has maintained a consulting practice on complementary medicine for the past fifteen years at the University of Michigan Medical Center, Department of Urology. Dr. Moyad is the Jenkins/Pokempner endowed Director of Preventive & Alternative Medicine. He is also the consulting Director of Medical Education & Research for the Eisenhower Wellness Institute, part of the Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California.
