He formed the nonprofit Growth Management Institute in 1992 to conduct research and education in growth management policies and practices. He lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland. She covers real estate and land use issues nationwide and has published articles and books on urban development, planning, architecture, urban design, and land use. She lives in Newton, Massachusetts.
