About the Author

Lavinia Cohn-Sherbok was formerly the Principal of West Heath School, and is currently an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Kent. She is the author of A Short History of Judaism, Jewish and Christian Mysticism, The American Jew, and the Judaism section of the Oxford Companion to Religion.

Dan Cohn-Sherbok teaches at the University of Kent and is a Visiting Professor at the Universities of Middlesex, Wales at Lampeter, and St. Andrews. He is the author and editor of over 40 books.
