Having successfully escaped Planet Satiety in Book I, QFQ celebrates the weddings of two Freshward family daughters – Wanda & Wilna. Wanting to review the lessons etched onto the old sandstone-casting of the Code of ECCE, Sir Rex discovers it is missing! Back on Planet Satiety, Sir Rex’s son, Wally, (now titular head of QFQ) celebrates QFQ’s escape, but is suddenly thrust into a quagmire of problems with Globulate Inc. and its imperious leader, Cmdr. Render Schmaltz. Later, at assistant Frygor’s urging, Wally agrees to meet with officials of the Congressa Anthropologia Nacionale Totale (CANT) who have devised an elaborate plan to reverse global warming. To blunt Globulate’s continuing threats, Wally mounts an advertising campaign exposing all of the bad, unhealthy ingredients in Globulate’s food. Outraged by this, Schmaltz vows retribution. Meanwhile, as the GoldWig-I plunges deeper into the cosmos, it encounters another planet inhabited by interesting life-forms: the ‘Zantz’… humanoid lizards resembling Quantasaurus. While not fond of humans, the Zantz agree to help repair the GW-I, which soon departs, only to be pounced on by the PSS Fongulero. Boggled by all the developments on Planet Satiety, Wally & Planetary Administration make emergency contact with Sir Rex, imploring him to return to help save Planet Satiety from imminent demise.
