Book Description
This volume is a translation from Latin into English of some of the most important shorter philosophical and theological treatises of the Puritan philosophical theologian William Ames (1576-1633). Ames’s thought and writing are shown to have played a major role in shaping the basic contours of American philosophy and religion.
