Editorial Reviews

Review

NSFW is electric and intoxicating… Explodes onto the stage with the force of a firework… By turns hilarious, ridiculous and amoral, Kirkwood’s dialogue is satisfyingly witty and deliciously incisive… An immensely satisfying show, deliciously slick, outrageous and asking important questions without dictating the answers. –ayoungertheatre.com

Subtly brilliant… viciously funny… Its name should be spoken at water coolers daily, and every downtrodden magazine intern given a free ticket so that they know they are not alone, or unpitied. –The Times

A cracking piece, sharp, funny and timely… Wears its feminism lightly, and is often waspishly funny. It is also dramatically gripping… touching too. Richly absorbing and inventive. –Telegraph

A savvy and deeply uncomfortable look at the world of modern media. It’s a timely, provocative response to the way women are presented in magazines and is studded with moments of outrageous humour. — Evening Standard

Kirkwood’s writing is intelligent, insightful and rings with one-liners and zippy exchanges. –The Arts Desk
