Cătălin V. Bîrjoveanu is a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, “Al.I. Cuza” University of Iasi, Romania. His research and teaching focuses on security protocols and their formal verification, electronic commerce, information security, privacy and smart cards.

Mirela Bîrjoveanu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Her research focus is on electronic commerce and information security. She is an engineer at Vitesco Technologies.
