About the Author
Hank Rutkowski, the principal of HTR Engineering, is an HVACR consultant. Over the past three decades he authored HVAC design manuals, papers and articles and developed expert system models for HVAC design procedures and computer models. Rutkowski is the principal author of ACCA s industry-adopted, residential and commercial series HVAC design manuals (J, N, D, Q, RS, CS, S, H, T, P, SPS etc.). Additionally, he has authored numerous technical bulletins and trade magazine articles and served on numerous industry committees. Hank received his BSME at Purdue University in 1966 and completed MSME course work from Akron University in 1971. Earlier in his career, Hank has worked as an engineer for the manufacturing industry as well as serving as a professor of Mechanical Engineering at Kent State University.
