Dr Brian W Edwards is Emeritus Professor of Architecture from Edinburgh and is currently on the academic staff of the School of Architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. He has authored many books and professional articles and received a CIOB Literary Award Gold Medal in 2001.
