About the Author
Val Michie is a Consultant in Education and Training for the Health and Care Sector, working with a wide range of training providers within the private, statutory and trades union sectors. Val has also worked as a lecturer in FE, teaching health sciences, key skills and Health and Social Care. Her more recent role as a technical author has involved her in writing underpinning knowledge and assessment activities for a number of qualifications, including NVQs, Technical Certificates and BTECs in Health and Social Care. Val is currently an External Verifier for a major awarding body.
