Christine G. Gourin, MD, FACS-Associate Professor, Johns Hopkins Medical Institute Christine G. Gourin, MD, FACS is Associate Professor of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery and Director of the Clinical Research Program in Head and Neck Cancer at Johns Hopkins University. She received her M.D. degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn/Downstate Medical Center. She trained in General Surgery and Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Vermont, and completed a fellowship in Advanced Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Gourin has been named to America s Top Physicians and Best Doctors in America annually since 2005. She has published extensively on various topics related to head and neck cancer. Her clinical and research interests focus on survival, quality of life and functional outcome following treatment for head and neck cancer.
