Henry J. Tobias is professor of history emeritus from the University of Oklahoma. His publications include A History of Jews in New Mexico; Santa Fe: A Modern History, 1880-1990; The Jewish Bund in Russia from Its Origins in 1905; and The Jews in Oklahoma. He resides in Albuquerque.
