About the Author
Lisa Parramore divides her time between writing about Japanese culture and designing Japanese-style gardens in the San Francisco bay area. She is the co-author of Living with Japanese Gardens, winner of the benjamin Franklin Award for best Gardening book 2007.
Chadine Flood Gong is an award-winning designer, whose work has appeared in many publications such as Sunset Magazine, and is the co-author of Living with Japanese Gardens. She lives in Los Gatos, CA.
Noboru Murata is based in Tokyo and is considered one of Japan’s most accomplished design photographers.
