Kaufman, M.D., is Emeritus Professor of Pediatrics and Communications at the University of Southern California Center for Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism at Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. She is also Chief Medical Officer and Vice President, Global Medical, Clinical and Health Affairs for Medtronic Diabetes. In 2003, she was the president of the American Diabetes Association.
