About the Author
Tim Derk made his debut as the Coyote in 1983. He appeared in over 1,110 games and averaged almost 200 community appearances a year. Today he is the associate manager of service innovation for Spurs Sports and Entertainment and lives in San Antonio with his wife, Colleen Quirk, and their two children. Derk loves his current position with the Spurs and remarks, “It’s the first job I’ve ever had that requires me to wear long pants!”
David Robinson played with the San Antonio Spurs for fourteen years and was winner of the NBA’s Rookie of the Year, Most Valuable Player, and Player of the Year awards, among many others.
