Writing alternating chapters, the authors in the roles of their alter egos, Glockneeb and Moose, compete for the limelight in this humorous, fast-paced, adventure that is filled with sarcastic wit, sexual innuendo, and slapstick style comedy.
Glockneeb, who is nearing discharge from the military, is worried. After receiving a letter from his sweetheart Fanny Tushbottom that ends abruptly in mid-sentence, he returns to civilian life and desperately wants to locate her. In her apartment, he finds a mysterious and puzzling message hidden in one of her shoes that he is unable to decipher, forcing him to reluctantly reconnect with his life-long friend, Moose, who runs (though not very successfully) his own private investigation agency.
Glockneeb, Moose, and ultimately the F.B.I., use the few clues they have to see if they can track down the love of Glockneeb’s life. As they muddle through their investigation, we are left to wonder if there is any way that they can ever find Fanny.

About the Author
The authors are life-long friends who began their journey into the world of humorous writing by communicating with each other via e-mail. The tone of the dialogue was always sarcastic in nature with an emphasis on degrading, belittling and denigrating the other’s character, while at the same time, glorifying their own persona with heavy use of exaggeration, half-truths and wishful thinking. Keeping with the above tradition, the authors, without collaboration and in the roles of their alter egos, Glockneeb and Moose, create their witty story lines by writing alternating chapters. Competing for the limelight, they are limited only by their individual imaginations. Their brand of humor can best be described by the acronym: S.T.U.P.I.D. (Sexy, Tasteless, Uncouth, Pointless, Inane, and Dumb).Author’s Home: Brea, CA
