About the Author
Steve Millburg has been a freelance writer and editor since March 2007 after 17 years with magazines (most recently as senior editor for travel at Coastal Living) and 16 years with newspapers. He began his professional career on the sports desk of the Omaha World-Herald in Nebraska while still in college. He has also been a copy editor, city columnist, movie reviewer, rock concert reviewer, theater reviewer, travel writer, medical writer, advertising copywriter, fitness writer, food writer, teacher, fact checker, musician, and wedding officiant, and in fact still is many of those things. Publications for which he has worked on staff include the St. Petersburg Times newspaper in Florida and Cooking Light and Southern Living magazines.
