General Surgical Emergencies

This book is comprised of six sections. The first and second section consist of an introduction and surgical emergencies. The third section overview critically ill patients and critical care that includes cardiac, respiratory and inotropic support. Section four covers polytrauma, head injuries, facial injuries, abdominal injuries, spinal cord injuries etc. Section five discusses organs and systems. The organs include oral cavity, head, neck, thorax, spines etc. and each of its diseases incidence, etiology, symptoms, signs, relevant investigations, and treatment. The special procedures and situations included in section six highlight emergency surgical procedures, preparing the patient for emergency surgery, antibiotics, and death.
