Book Description
This book describes the widespread of shadow economy in Russia, where mainstream collective consciousness reveals a split in National identity. While this book essentially examines the physical effects of a shadow economy, which can be readily observed through malfunctioning social institutions, the book also reveals the hidden shadow patterns, underlying the deep seated causes of shadow economy. These causes migrated into the modern Russia from the post-Soviet order and double standard life style. The authors present a well-substantiated review of multiple effects constituting the shadow society in Russia. The long term goal of this book, however, is to initiate the shift of awareness from the effects to the causes of shadow economy. Shadow society is a spiritual disease, rooted in the individual and shared by the collective consciousness. Shadow economy is a symptom of this disease which originates in consciousness and manifests through manipulative economic conduct.
