Book Description

e-dissertation: Food proteins in vaccine ingredients combined with immune stimulating chemical additives may underlie the development of food allergies and atopic disorders in U.S. children born from1990 to 2006. Allergic disorders have skyrocketed since 1990 in children under 12 years of age. 90% of food allergies are related to eight foods: milk, eggs, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, peanuts and tree nuts. Vaccine products listed on the CDC Recommended Early Childhood Vaccine Schedule 1990-2006 were analyzed to identify contents, antigenic proteins and cross-reacting molecules from these eight allergenic foods. 1500-3400 mcgs. of both toxic and benign immune stimulating chemicals in the cumulative vaccine schedule along with 800-1000 food- related antigenic molecules are identified and discussed. Identification of immunogenic food-related molecules in vaccines may be associated with the development of immune reactions to eight common foods introduced in early childhood. Natural strategies during pregnancy or lactation to reduce immune reactivity in infants and young children may impact the development of allergic conditions. Compromised nutritional status for children at risk may require nutritional supplementation and alternative antigen exposure strategies throughout early childhood
