About the Author

Dennis Taylor is an Honorary Research Fellow in the Music Department of Durham University in the UK. He is a retired music teacher in the secondary school sector. He has researched into the various influences of the Brass Band Movement, and this work is on the life and music of Eric Ball, a renowned Brass Band composer.
