About the Author

Steven De Haes is Dean of Antwerp Management School and Professor of Digital Strategy & Governance at Antwerp Management School and the University of Antwerp in Belgium. He is actively engaged in teaching and applied research in the domains of digital strategies, IT governance & management, IT strategy & alignment, IT value & performance management, IT assurance & audit, and information risk & security. His research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceeding, and he co-authored and/or edited several books. He also acts as speaker and facilitator in academic and professional conferences and coaches organizations in their digital strategies, IT governance, alignment and assurance efforts. He was involved in the development of the international IT governance framework COBIT as researcher and co-author.

Anant Joshi is Assistant Professor of Information Management at the department of Accounting and Information Management at Maastricht University’s School of Business and Economics. He is also a visiting scholar at the University of Antwerp and Antwerp Management School (Belgium). His research interests include Enterprise Governance of IT, Business Value of IT, Digital Transformation, and Corporate Governance.

Tim Huygh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science at the Faculty of Science, The Open Universiteit, Heerlen, The Netherlands, and Visiting Professor at Antwerp Management School in the University of Antwerp, Belgium. His research interests include governance and management of IT, information security management and governance, and cyber resilience. His research has been published in SCI-Indexed journals, books, and various conference proceedings.

Ziggy Van Giel is a Ph.D. candidate and visiting lecturer in the Department of Management and Information Systems at the Faculty of Business and Economics, at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. His research interests include enterprise governance of IT, IT risk management, and cyber resilience.
