About the Author
Michael McCarthy Michael McCarthy is Emeritus Professor of Applied Linguistics at the University of Nottingham, UK. Well known as an expert on the teaching and learning of grammar and vocabulary, he is a co-author of Cambridge Grammar of English and the elementary, upper-intermediate and advanced levels of English Vocabulary in Use. He is also the author of many titles of interest to teachers, including From Corpus to Classroom and Spoken Language and Applied Linguistics. Felicity O’Dell Dr Felicity O’Dell is a part-time tutor at the Institute of Education, University of London, where she helps to run a course in Online Education and Training. She is also chair of UCLES CAE Writing Paper and Listening Papers for the Cambridge Young Learners Tests.
